It can help you optimize your pages for the keyword phrases you are interested in.<br/>

<br/>This directory has a great page rank and many back links. As will all directory submissions, pay attention to the guidelines. The fee for submission is $40. Seven Seek is a general directory so just about any web site will fit here.<br/>

<br/>Go Guides is another great directory to get your web site into. Their web site is crawled by all the bots daily, which is a great plus. Submission is $40 for this general directory.<br/>

<br/>Wow Directory is a large general themed directory. Web site submissions are free but approval can take some time. They offer an express submit for $20 that will ensure your web site is listed within 24 hours.<br/>

<br/>There are many more directories out there but these are some solid ones to get into first. In time, your web site will begin to appear in the major search engines. Most directories that charge for submission have adopted the policy started by Yahoo where the fee is for “review” only. These are just a few of the items that are necessary for you to take advantage of the resulting traffic and orders that you will get from a successful campaign.<br/>
<br/>6. Collect contact information – always have a way to collect contact information from each prospect that you gain. You can require a valid email address, for example, before a customer can receive a free item. This method is increasingly popular among internet marketers because it’s a great way to build up your mailing list and it’s an opt-in list. You can also reuse the list over and over again as you create new products or create subsequent editions of existing products. It’s a way to get more money from the same subscription base without investing the same amount of marketing money each time.<br/>

<br/>The most common way people sell digital (meaning ebooks, software, etc..) items from their sites, is to use a 3rd party merchant called Clickbank.<br/>

<br/>I like clickbank because of what they offer. You can completely make it automatic, and as soon as you sell ONE product, your item(s) are listed in their affiliate database. Why is this important? Well, what this does is give your product a lot of exposure! Having affiliates promoting your products are one of the BEST ways to make money. So that is, in itself, one of the best things about clickbank because numerous peope visit clickbank everyday to find products to promote and/or buy.<br/>
<br/>So, How do you use clickbank?<br/>
<br/>Well, it's actually really simple.<br/>
<br/>First thing you'll want to do is setup an account with them. There is a one-time fee of about $49.95 and then they will allow you to sell your items in their database.<br/>
<br/>This is pretty cheap because merchant accounts can have an upfront cost of up to $300 and a monthly fee of up to $150 per month or more. In my honest opinion, I say DON'T DO IT!<br/>
<br/>Alrighty, now... After you setup your account with clickbank, and login, you'll want to first get a feel of the backroom and see how it works and all that good stuff.<br/>

<br/>1) Go to your account and you'll see a few "blank" bars that you can type in to.<br/>
<br/>What you want to do here is tell clickbank where they will send a customer after they have purchased your product. Why is this important? Well, because you'll get a lot of complaints if your customers don't get the product they ordered!<br/>
<br/>2) To the right of this bar, you'll see another with the price of $0.00<br/>
<br/>This is where you can price your product. You can price this whatever you like... However, you need to email clickbank (all info is in your user account) and tell them you'd like a "price limit increase" so you can sell your product for more than<br/>$0.00<br/>
<br/>3) After the email is sent, and they get back to you, you're all set!<br/>
<br/>That's right, it really is that easy.  You type in your download page, set the price, and their system works for you.<br/>
<br/>Why is this so darn great?<br/>
<br/>1)  You get to sell your products online.<br/>2)  After one sale, your product gets exposure (hence, you'll get affiliates promoting your product)<br/>3) Your ordering process will be completely automatic, leaving you with time to do other things that will keep you proactive with your business!<br/>

<br/>You will certainly want to know their first and last name, and their email address so you can stay in touch with them. It's pretty easy to figure out why... do you want to know?<br/>

<br/>Well here you go... because later on down the road, when you have either another product you want them to know about (and sell to them), or you just joined a great affiliate program that has a great product they might be interested in buying (which you get comissions on) you'll be able to simply email ALL your customers (your list) with your offer.<br/>

<br/>So, what's the best way to get your customers name and email<br/>address?<br/>
